KORDAL STUDIO
2017 - 2022
DESIGN + PRODUCTION

Kordal Studio’s mission is to create quality, responsibly made garments that exemplify the possibilities of sustainable design. All collections are designed and produced in an ethical manner by designing garments that are not trend focused; by using natural, organic, and recycled textiles; and paying workers a fair wage. They create clothing that's gentle on the environment, designed with intention and made to be lived in.
I designed, drafted patterns for, and managed production of all the woven offerings for Kordal. After 2020, we stopped offering seasonal collections, focusing on smaller capsule collections sold DTC in store and online.
During my five years as the Director of Design and Production, my proudest accomplishments were:
• Owning development and production of woven apparel, expanding woven product categories to ultimately design, develop, and manage production of the top 3 highest selling products in the brand’s history (the brand started with knitwear only)
• Facilitating 2x sales growth year over year, over four years by analyzing sales data and utilizing insights to execute strategies for product development, site merchandising, and marketing
• Diversifying the brand’s size offerings as well as imagery and model diversity
